Carly Rae Jepsen is a very popular singer from Canada. But several years ago, few people knew about her. Now, her song Call Me Maybe is very popular in the world, although she is 30 years old. Why did she become popular so soon?
The story started in January. Bieber heard Call Me Maybe on the radio and liked it very much. So he made a music video for it with his star friends. In the video, Bieber and his friends danced to the song and lip-synced(哼唱） to it. Then it became popular on the Internet. Jepsen’s name quickly became the talk of the town.
But Bieber’s help is not the only reason for Jepsen’s success; the song is sweet and Jepsen is also a good singer.
