An earthquake may   (1)   some places at any time. Do you know what to do when it happens? Please let me tell you.

   When a quake begins and if you are outside, you must get into the open air and stay   (2)   buildings, trees and other dangerous things. If you are inside, you must stand in a corner,   (3)   get under a heavy desk or a table. If you are driving a car, or a bus, you must drive to   (4)   of the road and stop.

After an earthquake, you must try to talk to everyone in your family to see if they are   (5)   and see if gas, water, and electrical lines are   (6)  . Please don’t smoke or use lights. A gas line may be broken. You must keep the telephone lines clear. Don’t use your phone or drive your car  (7)   you are sure everything is all right.
