   Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961．His parents separated (分开) when he was two years old and   (3)  divorced (离婚). Obama grew up with his mother in Hawaii, and for a few years in Indonesia．Later, he moved to New York,   (4)   he graduated from Columbia University in 1983. Mark and his brother Jamie rang their neighbor Mrs. Gradyˈs doorbell.

Shoveling the snow was Jamieˈs idea，a way to make enough money for a new video game. Mrs. Grady touched her hand to her heart.“That would be wonderful，boys. The work is too much for me.”

God puts dreams in our hearts. So we must dream. Eight years ago, a young couple, my close friends, were attacked by robbers in their home.   (1)  , they lost their unborn baby.
