Almost everyone likes traveling.But next time before you travel around the world,take a look at your own backyard.Is there a place where you could plant a tree or put in a little fruit or vegetable garden?If so,get there and get your hands dirty.Then you can watch with pride as your tree takes root,and your garden plants grow into big plants full of ripe,red tomatoes of tiny,juicy blueberries.Who knew being green would taste so good?

At a fire site,Smokejumpers first examine the land and decide how to fight the fire.their main goal is to stop fire from spreading.using basic tools such as shovels and axes,smokejumpers clear land of burnable material like plants and other dry material.they carry water with them too,but not much.

Dave is my friend.His family is rich.His parents always give him lots of pocket money.But Dave thinks his parents work very hard and it's not easy for them,so he always tries his best to save money.He has some good ways to do it.
Dave likes reading.He has lots of books.He tells me he often buys books online,because they're cheaper.And when he has free time,he often goes to bookstores or libraries to do some reading.
Dave has a bike.He usually goes to school by bike instead of taking a bus.Sometimes when it rains or snows,he walks.These two ways help Dave keep healthy and save some money.
Dave brings a bottle of water to school every day.When other students drink juice,he enjoys his water.He thinks water is the cheapest but the best drink.
Some students think Dave is mean.But I don't think so.I think he is right.What do you think of him?

67.How does Dave usually go to school?
68.What does Dave bring to school every day?
            • 9. In the past two days,I’ve been to two very different bookstores.They were both in Beijing,and both attracted people in their 20years old and 30years old.So why were they so different?Because one store was for Chinese people,and one was for Westerners.
At the Western bookstore,in Sanlitun,the books put on display in front-the ones expected to be the most popular-were biographies(传记),books about history,and books about politics(政治)and current(现在的)events.Farther back,there was a big shelf full of novels.
At the Chinese store,at the Beijing airport,there were very few books on history,and books on politics and current events were even harder to find.There were a few biographies,but they seemed to be of an instructive(教育性的)nature; almost all of them were about rich people,and how they got rich.What the store did have was lots and lots of books on how to learn English.
As a Westerner,I found this surprising.The kinds of books I’m used to seeing people read-the kinds that were at the first store-are the kinds people read to escape their daily lives.But here most of the books were on how to get rich and how to study English-how to work better and how to study better.
Perhaps this is another area where Westerners and Chinese people can learn from each other.We Westerners could certainly read more for practical purposes.But I also think Chinese people might benefit(受益)from more of something my teachers always encouraged:reading for fun.
              86.Where were the two bookstores?

87.What kind of books were the most popular at the Western bookstore?

88.Were there any books on studying English at the Chinese store?

89.What does the writer think of these books at the Chinese store?

90.What is the difference between Western readers and Chinese readers according to the story?

The philosopher only smiled and took his ring from one of his fingers,and said,“I will answer your question,but first do one thing for me.Take this ring and go to the market.Can you sell this for ten gold coins?”,
