According to an ancient Chinese legend , a Chinese ruler Shen Nong discovered tea when he was boiling drinking water over an open fire. William Shakespeare was a writer of plays and poems. Some of his most famous plays are Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth. He wrote thirty-seven plays in all. They are still popular today.

 He was born in 1564 in England. At school he liked watching plays. He decided to be an actor (演员) when he finished school at the age of fourteen. 1582年，他和一个农场主的女儿结了婚.   The Australians have a close relationship with the British . Many have British relatives , and they are like us in many ways .
