Answer these questions first. What authors do you like? Research books by the authors you've enjoyed, and you can get more of the same type of books. What are your interests? Type your hobbies into your library catalog search. By doing this, you will find books that you might like. Is there a type of book you would like to try? If there is, search the book and read the summary. This will help you decide if the book is right for you.

Search your house next.Often good books are quietly collecting dust in your own house.Maybe you forget about one, or someone who is living with you has a couple of good books. Also by searching your house, you can find some books that you can read, and they won't even cost you any money.

Then, ask someone to recommend a good book. You can ask your older brother or sister, your mom, your dad, your best friend, or even your English teacher. Local bookstores oft en have wonderful recommendations. And when they get to know you, it's even better! You should ask people who like the same type of books, so that you can get books that match your need.

 Join a book club, please. Being a book club member is often a way to experience new books with other members. Joining a book club or setting up a book club helps you know who else likes the same books as you, and you can read books that others have read and discuss them.

In learning a foreign language, one should first pay attention to speaking. It is the ground-work of reading and writing. You’d better try your best to speak. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. While you are doing this, a good exercise is to write---- keep a diary, write notes or letters and so on. Many mistakes in your speaking will be easily found when you write. Through correcting the mistakes, you can do better in learning a language.

  If you are slow in speaking, don’t worry. One of the helpful ways is to improve your English by reading, either aloud or low to yourself. Sitting on a chair all day in school can make anyone want to move around. So, more and more teachers are letting students have a ball. By sitting on exercise balls instead of chairs, teachers find students’ attention improve.

Peter, a fifth-grade teacher in West Virginia, the USA, has been using balls as chairs since December 2010.“The students love them”, he says. Peter took a survey of his students. He found that 80% of the students thought sitting on the balls helped them pay more attention to what they were learning.

The manager(经理), Mary, felt so strongly about the use of balls as chairs, she encourages the use of the balls.    Take part in at least one activity. This will give you tears of laughter, happiness and memories.

   Get a job. This will help you see what it's like to have responsibility (责任). It can also help you make a little money to spend on yourself.

   Take a trip with your friends. It doesn't matter where you go or what you do, the memories will happen on the way and go on till the final place.

 The use of technology(科技) in the classroom is nothing new, but Topcliffe Primary School is breaking new ground by helping autisitic(患自闭症的) children through robot friends. These robots can dance, play games and Tai Chi.

   Dr Guldberg, a teacher from University of Birmingham, said, "Studies show that autistic children often find computers and technology safe. So we wonder how technology can help them to communicate. They are trying the robots in the classroom. The robots are teaching them right things and acting as friends."

   Ian Lowe, a teacher from Topcliffe Primary School, said, "The robots are very smart at helping autistic children with learning. In the future we hope they can help with learning at home."

   And the students love them. Ian teaches about 30 autistic children.

   Seven－year－old Joshua says he likes playing games with the robots, Max and Ben.

   Daniel and Kevin say they like to watch the robots dance.

   And Steven says he likes it when Max tells him stories.

   The teachers say that the fact the children enjoy talking about the robots shows how important they are in helping autistic children communicate.
