The Phone Call

It was getting dark. Paul looked out of the window and signed (叹气). Dad said he could come home by 5:30, but it was __  (1)   7:00. My father used to work in the city and seldom stayed at home. But he would come back and help to harvest (收割) ____  (1)  ____ every year.
