As is often the case, when people are attending meeting, having meals or waiting for buses, you can always find them addicted to their phones, complete ignoring others.

   It was our turn to be at duty yesterday. I, with three other students, were working together to clean the whole classroom. While we were cleaning, we found that the nails in several chairs and desks get loose. For the sake of our classmates, we decided to fix it. We went to the duty room of our school in which tool were available, and asked to borrow some hammers and nails. The operator was kind person. After hearing our intention, he lent the tools to us or reminded us to be careful while using them. Then we returned back to our classroom and started to repair the broken chairs and desks. With the increasing serious air pollution, the air quality in cities are becoming worse and worse. The gases from cars and factories keep coming into air. There are not enough trees to absorb the gases, because trees have been cutting down in large quantities. If people breathe out these gases, their healthy will be harmed. The gases may cause various disease like lung cancer or even heart disease. To improve the situation, we suggested that the number of cars should be controlled and that the factories should be prevented from pour out waste. And when we go out, rather than drive our own cars, why not to use public transportation?

For students learned instruments, summer is always a “music season”. During vacation time, we are always busy attending various of lessons, taking exams and participating in contest. This summer I joined in a music contest but was lucky to get the second place. It was the first time that I have played on the stage. In front of the stage was my excited schoolmates. Facing such many people, I felt very upset at first, but the encouragement from my teacher kept me going ahead.

Fortunate, I was given a silver medal, that increased my confidence. In short, nothing is impossible to willing heart.
