Today my classmate and I went to a farm for a trip. I get up at six o’ clock and we set off by bus. On the bus, some of us sang, and some of us talked. We all had good time. Two hours late, we arrived at the gate of the farm, that the farmers were waiting to give us a warm welcome. After we were shown around the big farm, they began to plant trees. It was really a good way to getting close to nature and protect the environment at the same time. Next , we had a picnic and it was great fun to eat on the open air. The first time I went away from home without my parents was when I was ten. I go on a school trip with my class to the zoo in Beijing. We left home earlier in the morning because we  had long journey. We travelled to Beijing with bus and we spent the whole day at the zoo.

I can remember see an elephant for the first time. I was very exciting! At midday, we ate out picnic lunch in a park near the zoo. Last Friday, Just before the 66^th National Day holiday, I conducted interview with James Watson, a famous American scientist, talk about how to become a successful scientist. Last Friday evening, I had a talk about my grandma. She told me that she wanted--visiting Shanghai. She would like to see the greatly changes in her hometown. Heard this, I began to book the air ticket for her on the Internet and I checked weather in Shanghai as well. As a high school students，I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but learn more about other cultures．There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term．They often go to the English corner so that we can have a chance to practise a language．I seize every chance to talk them．However，I sometime find they are not so interesting in what I say，and it’s hard for I to choose a suitable topic． I would like some advices about how to communicate proper with foreigners，and what topics to pick．
