              I like travelling and my dream of visit Beijing，the capital city of our country，come true during the National Day holidays this year．In October 1st，I went to Tianˈanmen Square with my parents，there we watched the flag-raising ceremony．As I watched flag rising slowly，I sang the national anthem，feeling extremely exciting．Then we went to some other famous tourist attraction，like the Great Wall．Standing on the Great Wall，I felt very proudly．I thought of the old saying that" One who fail to reach the Great Wall is not a hero．"Although I was tired，but I really had a good time．

              I live in a small quiet town to the south of China. This is typical Chinese town. No tall buildings but also some beautiful parks lie in the town. There are flowers and grass everywhere or only two main streets which go through the town. Around the town stand a high wall, which was built long, long ago. It is still possibly to walk along it. No motorcars are allowing in the business streets, that makes shopping easier and safer. On warm days some tea shops put table and chairs outside it to let people take a rest and have some tea. How I love the town.

              For students learned instruments, summer is always a “music season”. During vacation time, we are always busy attending various of lessons, taking exams and participating in contest. This summer I joined in a music contest but was lucky to get the second place. It was the first time that I have played on the stage. In front of the stage was my excited schoolmates. Facing such many people, I felt very upset at first, but the encouragement from my teacher kept me going ahead.

              Fortunate, I was given a silver medal, that increased my confidence. In short, nothing is impossible to willing heart.
