And she said softly,"Mommy, that's OK….I still love you (16) ."I hugged her and said,"I love you too and I love your flowers."

              Do What You Enjoy

Sometimes you may find that you are not happy in your life, although everything is going well. Most of the time you have to  (1)   this kind of unhappy life, since it is really hard to make changes and move on to a new business, which often involves taking   (2)  .

My father, however, was a quite different example. When I was about 9 or 10, he told me that I should be whatever I wanted when I grew up, so long as I   (3)   it. He said thatif I were not feeling  (4)  , I should try to change my life to make it more delightful, and I would find real   (5)   as a result. From him I learned a great lesson on the  (6)  of doing one’s favorite.

My father got into the insurance industry when he was very young, and he was very   (7)  . He became one of the company’s top salesmen, even though he was only 25 years old. Soon he became one of the first independent insurance salesmen in our state.   (8)  , he decided to leave his successful  (9)  and move on to other fields. You might  (10)   why he did so. The answer was simple: he liked to do something challenging, something that   (11)   his strength and ability, especially in a way that is interesting. My father just wanted to have a try, and so he did. After leaving the insurance company, he worked insocial media and then in digital technology, which really   (12)  him.Of course he wasn’t successful in everything he tried, but he told me for   (13)   that he did something he liked, and that he had the  (14)   of doing what he enjoyed.

                (15)   one’s comfortable life is not easy. I’ve learned this from my father, and I can say no matter whether the  (16)  is good or bad, it is   (17)  doing one’s favorite. When we do something we love, itgives us extra  (18)   to meet our goals, which are associated with psychological well-being and health. As long as we have no  (19)   and give it a try,we are forced to push against ourselves. After all we all want to be where we are  (20)  ourselves.

               The climb

I love the song The climb because of its message. This   (1)   is about going after your dreams and continuing on that   (2)   no matter how tough it gets because   (3)   on to your dreams is   (4)   you were born to do. When nothing else will   (5)   your hunger, what else are you going to do with your   (6)  ? You can either give up and live a more   (7)  , less painful life ending with regret later on   (8)   decide that the life you   (9)   want is going to be yours and that you will not let anything   (10)   in your way.

Obstacles(障碍)are just tests designed to   (11)  your level of commitment(信仰). Anyone can move forward when the wind is blowing   (12)   their back but when they have to give   (13)  they’ve got just to take a step forward, most   (14)   feel it’s not worth it and give up. That’s not commitment; that’s a   (15)  . Wishing is for those who believe in fairy tales; commitment is for those who believe in themselves without   (16)  .

I don’t know what sort of  (17)   you’re going through or what kind of obstacles lie   (18)  you. But I do know that if you can   (19)  yourself to achieving your dream life, and whether you succeed or fail, you   (20)   have one kind of a life story to tell at the end of it all.

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of   36  , teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You   37  know who these people maybe (possibly your roommate, neighbor, co-worker, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger), but when you   38   eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will   39   your life in some profound(深远的) way.

And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful and unfair at first, but   40   you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens   41   or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and complete stupidity all occur to

42   the limits of your soul.   43   these small tests whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to   44  . It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and   45  . The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become.

Even the   46   experience can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant(伤心的) and important ones. If someone hurts you,   47   you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back   48  , not only because they love you, but because   49  , they are teaching you to love and how to open your   50

              and eyes to things.

Make every day count.   51   every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love,   52   free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have   53   right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make your life anything you wish.Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no   54  .

Most importantly, if you LOVE someone, tell him or her, for you never know what tomorrow may have in   55  . And learn a lesson in life each day that you live.

              That’s the story of life.

My parents were a team, as if they were one person. Sure, they___41___, but undoubtedly any___42___would be solved. They began their married life___43___, but they worked hard and,___44___the years built a very successful business .They had strengths and weaknesses, but so___45___as they worked together, you never saw weaknesses, just strengths.

The biggest___46___about love and marriage my parents taught us kids was how to talk “about” your partner. Have you ever heard husbands and wives make___47___remarks(评论) about their partners? It’s one those things people just seem to do. Sure, they are “only kidding” or maybe they are not. But words___48___. And words teach, whether positively or negatively. Dad always speaks of mom in positive words,___49___does she of him.

One day we were getting carpet fixed. The crew boss said, “Women will really spend your money, won’t they?” Dad___50___, “Well, they were right there with you before you had any money, it’s a___51___to do anything for them you possibly can.” This wasn’t the answer the boss expected to hear. The crew boss___52___one more time, “And they’ll take that as far as they can, huh?” Dad responded again, “She’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. I’ll do anything to make her happy.”

I tried not to___53___. I knew he wanted Dad to___54___just a little bit and say, “Yeah, I guess that’s true.” But it wouldn’t happen... not in a million years!

My parents are retired and still enjoying their life together, just___55___out, reading, shopping. Throughout the years,___56___Mom would remind me I should be___57___ for someoneto get married to, I’d say, “Ma, I have plenty of time.” She’d___58___reply “I don’t have ‘that’ much time”. Dad would then look at me and say, “Hey, you___59___all the time you need. If you marry someone just___60___the woman your mother is, you’ll have a great life.”
