     With the Internet is developing fast, more and more new words and phrases have been created in Chinese. Here are some examples.

One of the most popular words are Dianzan, which is often used when you quite approve for someone. Another example is Renxing. When we say somebody is Renxing, you mean that they will do whatever they like. The phrase Miaosha first comes from online shopping, which means you can complete your shopping orders before other. But now it's wide used when you achieve your purpose in the very short time. If you will describe somebody as a Tuhao, you mean he is very rich.

     You can find lots of such new Chinese words. Keep learning, you'll know more about our language and culture.

Last week our teacher announced that a Chinese Character Dictation Competition will be held in our school. Many of us hoped to take part, so only one competitor was allowed for each class. Luckily, I got a chance.

In the following days, I busied myself prepare for the competition. My classmates all volunteered help me. As the competition was approaching, I felt more and more confidently. The day finally came. Some characters were such challenging that many of the competitors got stuck while I was able to write down all of them and had won first prize.

When I was standing excitedly on the stage, pictures of my classmates helping and encouraging me flashed into my minds. The victory and honor belonged with all of us.

Steve Jobs said, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” This is exactly what I have been thinking.

I love designing very much and I want to be a terrific dress designer when I grow up. This dream does not fit in my parents’ mind. They think being a designer is not a stable profession. I, however, still keep drawing and spend lots of time studying fashion and designing clothes. In my view, success does not necessarily mean fame or wealth, but mean the best of whatever you are. I always believe that, sooner or later, I will have my own studio and my own brand.

      I am a student, I have some complaints to make about a poor service of your bookstore.

      In last Sunday, I went there and buy an English dictionary. Unfortunately, I paid and was about to leave after I noticed that some pages were miss. After further inspection, I found some other problem with it and decided that it was poor in quality. Therefore, when I asked the clerk to change it for another one, she simply refused my request, which make me very sad and annoyed. In my opinion, she was a bit rude to his customer.
