Today my classmate and I went to a farm for a trip. I get up at six o’ clock and we set off by bus. On the bus, some of us sang, and some of us talked. We all had good time. Two hours late, we arrived at the gate of the farm, that the farmers were waiting to give us a warm welcome. After we were shown around the big farm, they began to plant trees. It was really a good way to getting close to nature and protect the environment at the same time. Next , we had a picnic and it was great fun to eat on the open air. The first time I went away from home without my parents was when I was ten. I go on a school trip with my class to the zoo in Beijing. We left home earlier in the morning because we  had long journey. We travelled to Beijing with bus and we spent the whole day at the zoo.

This afternoon, when I was walking to home after school, I noticed my neighbor Uncle Bob lay by the roadside with his right hand on his chest. It was clear he was badly ill. Last Friday, Just before the 66^th National Day holiday, I conducted interview with James Watson, a famous American scientist, talk about how to become a successful scientist. On his opinion, to be a scientist, we needed to be very fond of science. What’s most, we have to keep practicing as well as learn from other successful scientist. If we want to be a successful one, besides hard-working, we are supposing to set up for a clear goal as well. Here is my idea of how a friend is like. Firstly, a friend is someone you can share your secrets. If you tell him a secret, never will he talks about it with anybody else. Besides, a friend was always a good listener when you need one. After hear your sad stories, he will say some words that is nice and warm. Still, your happiness makes him happily too. What’s more, a good friend is willing to offer the help with which you need, or can at least give you some advices. In a word, friends are those you like and trust, and you will enjoy every minute that you spend with him.
