What a morning! I woke up earlier to make sure I had packed everything we needed for this trip. Since it was fall in the US, so I had to pack for colder weather. Moot of my suitcase was filled with gift for friends and family. I hoped nothing would get lose on the way. The most important item: a camera to take photos. After a light lunch in an airport, I sat down to wait for my flight to boarding. Luckily I had brought reading or writing materials. I was dressed comfortable -- jeans and a casual blouse -- and ready the long voyage, with an overnight stopover in Tokyo.

Scientists say we clean our teeth the wrong way. Researchers from University College, London found that most of the advice that dentists give us   61   (be) very different. They add that we have been cleaning our teeth the wrong way. The researchers looked at tooth-brushing advice in dental textbooks, toothpaste   62   (instruct) and dental clinics. They found five different   63   (base) ways of tooth-brushing and decided all of   64   were incorrect. Most of the methods involve   65   (move) the toothbrush along the teeth, with the brush moving round and round in small circular movements. The researchers said we should stop doing this and use a back-and-forth movement instead.

Aubrey Sheilam, lead author of the study and professor of dental public health, said: “The public needs to have sound information on the   66   (good) method   67   (brush) their teeth.” The research suggests not brushing teeth too much. More than twice a day damages the enamel on the teeth. The recommended time   68   brushing is no longer than three minutes each time. The research also says using too much pressure and brushing your teeth too hard will also damage teeth. Researchers also advised not cleaning your teeth immediately after eating. This is when acid is strongest in your mouth   69   this acid will damage teeth. A final recommendation was to clean the tongue too   70   it also has a lot of bacteria.

            • 10. In 1878, Margaret Wolfe Hungerford stated that there was no   61   (consist) view on beauty. Standards of beauty change across time and cultural groups. In contemporary society, culture remains a major part in 63     (determine) our ideas of beauty. In some countries, young women follow slimming diets to lose weight in   64   (prepare) for their wedding day.   65    the influence of history, society and culture, there are no precise criteria 66    can be used to judge what is beautiful. Physical beauty must also   67     (accompany) by an attraction to something deeper within a person. This particular kind of attraction is found in 68    wide range personal qualities, such as kindness, warmth, a healthy conscience, etc. So judging the appeal of a person’s inner beauty is much more   69     (subject). Beauty, therefore, has more than one dimension. We are influenced by many aspects, but it is inner beauty that requires us truly   70    (see). Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder.
