                          I took our foreign teacher Mr. Brown, he came to China for the first time, to the Great Wall in last weekend.               Last week our teacher announced that a Chinese Character Dictation Competition will be held in our school. Many of us hoped to take part, so only one competitor was allowed for each class. Luckily, I got a chance.

              In the following days, I busied myself prepare for the competition. My classmates all volunteered help me. As the competition was approaching, I felt more and more confidently. The day finally came. Some characters were such challenging that many of the competitors got stuck while I was able to write down all of them and had won first prize.

              When I was standing excitedly on the stage, pictures of my classmates helping and encouraging me flashed into my minds. The victory and honor belonged with all of us.

              I went shopping yesterday afternoon. It is seven o’clock when I was going home by bus. The bus was full of passengers, all of which kept silent.
