Seeing Yang Liguang, you might never imagine that the thin boy traveled independently to Tibet for one month. More    (1)   , the 21-year-old man from Henan University of Science and Technology brought only 500 yuan    (2)   him and earned other funds for travel on the way. He   (3)   his dream and experienced the most   (4)   moments of his life.

Yang acquired his love for Tibet after watching a documentary about the holy place.   (5)    was because he was moved   (6)  by their devoted faces and sincere emotions that he wanted to go there himself.

                 (7)  Yang had been preparing for the Tibet trip for three years – doing exercise, learning hiking and wilderness   (8)  skills, practicing photography and reading travel guides – he still met some unexpected challenges   (9)  .

“Since it was my first time in Tibet, I underestimated the cost. I had to use every

                (10)   to live cheaply and make more money,” he says. During the travel, he did several different jobs, including helping people reserve tickets to enter the Potala Palace as well as   (11)   leaflets(传单). And what he felt most   (12)  about was selling souvenirs(纪念品).

For most of the trip, Yang   (13)  situations properly except one hopeless moment. “Once A girl and I wanted to go back to Lhasa, but we couldn’t get a free ride   (14)  3 or 4 o’clock in the afternoon”. But there was only one seat   (15)   . He gave his seat to the girl, but he left his luggage on board. When he   (16)   his mistake, he couldn’t    (17)  the vehicle, and he didn’t have a cell phone. The trip didn’t only bring Yang good memories and friends   (20)  also beautiful photos. “I earned some money by selling the photos in my campus, which will fund my next trip,” Yang says.

When July comes, children know they’ll have their examination and the school year will end soon. Boys and girls will have a nearly two   (1)  holiday, and they’ll leave school   (2)    train or by car to     (3)    to see their fathers and mothers. The summer holidays are the      (4)     time of the year for most children. The weather is usually good, so one can    (5)   most of his time playing outside.    (6)   one lives in the country, he can  (7)     into the woods and in the fields. If one lives in a big town, he can    (8)   go to a park to play.

The best place for a summer holiday is the    (9)    . Some children are   (10)    enough to live near the sea. But for   (11)    who do not, if they have the chance to stay at one of the big seaside towns for a week or two,    (12)   will talk about it all the following school year. Now,    (13)    makes the children like the seaside so much? I think it is the  (14)   , the sea and the sun, not   (15)   else. Of course, there are    (16)    new things to see, nice things to eat, and    (17)   things to do. But the feeling of the sand under their feet of the  (18)   water on their skin, and   (19)   of the warm sun on their backs make   (20)    happier.

The editor of the new Cool Camping Britain guide chooses some of his favorite new finds in England, Wales and Scotland.

Cleadale, Isle of Eigg, Inner Hebrides

Is this Britain’s most beautiful campsite? From the grassy point looking seaward to the mountains, it’s not hard for campers to see how the island inspired The Lord of the Rings author’s fantasy landscapes. The campsite itself is as wild and wonderful as its setting.

Open April — September, from £5 per tent per night.

                  Swattesfield, Thornham Magna, Suffolk

Deep in the wilds of north Suffolk, this seven-acre campsite has only been open for a few years, with two fields separated by a lake and surrounded by woodland. The position is perfect. It’s a great place to do nothing but get into nature. You can put up your tent in the bottom field or the woodland beyond.

Open Easter — October, from £10 per tent per night.

Pleasant Streams Farm, near St Austell, Cornwall

This site, by a lake, is all about simple pleasures. Located in the former mining village, it has a summerhouse(凉亭)with books and games for a rainy day. There are many animals including pigs, hens, goats and ducks on the farm and a pub just a 10- minute stroll away. There’s very little to do here, no bells and no whistles. Campfires are encouraged.

Open Easter — September, from £10 per tent per night.

Troytown Campsite, St Agnes, Isles of Sciily

Its only campsite, Troytown, couldn’t be in a more remote position. Isolation is its greatest advantage — so bring plenty of books to read and don’t expect a phone signal. But at least one of life’s necessities is available. Lying on the hillside overlooking the bay and near the island of the Gugh, it might just win the prize for best beer garden view in England.

Open March October, from £7. 50 per tent per night,

Sydney has a huge bus system. No buses accept cash, and a ticket needs to be bought ahead of time. The buses often run at busy hours and regularly during the day. The Sydney Explorer bus provides air-conditioned service and stops at 27 tourist attractions. Its partner, the Bondi Explorer, stops at 19 attractions. Tickets allow holders to jump on and off as they please, and they can be used for one or two days. Itˈs an easy way to see the city and the surroundings.

Sydneyˈs train service runs throughout the central city area and the surroundings. Tickets can be bought from machines that operate 24 hours a day or from ticket offices. The monorail(单轨火车)travels through central Sydney. It is the most excellent way to gain a good view of the whole city. The monorail runs every three to five minutes, and it takes 15 minutes to complete its journey.

Sydney is built around a harbor, and the Parramatta River has a large ferry(渡船)system.

It serves the area around the harbor. These include Taronga Zoo, Darling Harbor, Rose Bay, the North Shore, Cockatoo Island and Sydney Olympic Park. The ferries have operated for more than 135 years and 14 million passengers take the ferries each year.

Water taxis can offer special services that some visitors enjoy, such as transporting passengers to specific locations, offering guided tours of waterways and so on. The tickets sell for 20 Australian dollars for a day or 57 Australian dollars for a week. It is strange, isn’t it?

              Washington Sightseeing Guide

White House-Public tours of the White House have been offered since Thomas Jefferson

was president, but you can't just drop in. Visits to the White House are in high demand, and

you must make your request through your member of Congress(国会)up to six months, and

no fewer than 21 days, before your visit. Be sure to check the White House tour-info Web site

to make sure about the personal identification you'll need. And before the day of your visit,

call 202-456-7041 to confirm the tour schedule.

Lincoln's Cottage-Lincoln's Cottage, the hilltop home where President Lincoln lived during part of the Civil War, is simply furnished but features lighting effects and actors' recordings that reveal Lincoln's thoughts on slavery and the war. "In the library you can actually see the ghost lines of where the library shelves would have been," says cottage director Erin Carlson Mast. "We haven't re-created the bookshelves because that was such an amazing moment of discovery for us that we wanted to preserve that so people can have that moment of discovery themselves. "

Library of Congress-The Library of Congress is housed in three buildings: the Thomas Jefferson Building, James Madison Memorial Building and the John Adams Building. Although trying to see all of it in one day is possible, it's probably best to do a little thinking ahead and figure out which areas you'd really like to explore (i. e. when your feet start to hurt, you won't feel so bad about not catching everything). The most popular visitor destination is the Thomas Jefferson Building, but there are things worth seeing-murals(壁画) , sculptures, performances-elsewhere in the complex.

It’s in the grounds of a medieval house. There’s a swimming pool, a river and a pizza restaurant. The scenery (景色) around the park is beautiful and great for walking. A week’s stay will cost you about €280.

For more information please go to www.eurocamp.co.uk.

Four Seasons Tented Camp, Golden Triangle (Thailand)

This must be one of the best campsites (野营地) in the world. Instead of tents, there are “canvas cabins (帆布船舱)”. And there’s a gourmet restaurant, a spa and a pool. There are only 15 of cabins to rent so you’ll have to book early. The campsite can only be reached by river boat, but once there you can learn to ride an elephant. Unfortunately, it isn’t cheap, and two nights at the Four Seasons will cost youabout €1,500!

For more information please go to www.Fourseasons.com/goldentriangle.

              Three Cliffs Bay, Gower (Wales)

The Three Cliffs Bay is in a beautiful part of the country, and it won’t cost you much either: a family tent (2 adults, 2 children) is about €28 a day. There’s a camp shop where you can buy food and drinks, and there are pubs and restaurants nearby so you won’t even have to cook. You can water-ski from the  beach, or go walking along the Gower Way.

For more information please go to www.Threecliffsbay.com.

Longitude 131, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park (Australia)

Situated in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, near the massive (巨大的) red rock formerly known as Ayer’s Rock, this is more like a hotel than a campsite. There’s a restaurant, a pool and even a library. The only problem is that it’s a bit expensive — around €1,500 a night.

Traveling is a very good activity. When you are fed up with your work and when you can get a holiday, you can go to the beautiful spots to enjoy the beauty of nature and the special character of other cities. You can breathe fresh air, visit some places of interest, meet different people and make friends with them. If you do so, you will forget your tiredness and troubles and build up your health. As a result, you will feel fully relaxed and you will have the energy to undertake the new tasks waiting for you.

But sometimes, traveling is not an enjoyable thing. For example, when the bus or car you take has a bad accident, you just sit in and waste your time. What’s more, the weather can be changeable. If you are climbing a mountain, it may rain suddenly. You may be caught in the rain and may catch a cold. The worst thing is that you may have your money stolen and you may have an injury. All these are terrible things that can happen to a tourist.

Therefore, when you are going on a trip, you must prepare yourself carefully. Firstly, you must have clear information about the weather. Secondly, you should choose a good companion so that you can help each other. Thirdly, you must be careful everywhere and try to avoid accidents. If you do this, you’ll surely enjoy your travels and avoid any unnecessary trouble.
