Eligibility (任职资格)
☆ Bachelor’s degree or 4-year equivalent
☆ Citizen of the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand
☆ Native English speaker
☆ No criminal record (with the exception of traffic or other minor violations)
☆ Age 20-50
There are no exceptions to the eligibility requirements. These requirements are put in place
by the Colombian government, and we are not allowed to make exceptions.
Benefits
This program is free. There will be a US＄400 deposit upon acceptance to the program, but this will only be required after both interview rounds, after you have been accepted.
The deposit will be returned to you only when you complete your full program and contract term, along with your end-of-contract bonus. This deposit is your official commitment to participating in the program and is non-refundable if you cancel or withdraw from the program at any time, for any reason. This deposit will be refunded in Colombian pesos (比索，一种货币), at a fixed exchange rate outlined in the Participant Agreement that each teacher will sign after acceptance.
What’s Included:
☆ Monthly allowance to cover living expenses: 1,500,000 Colombian pesos per month
☆ Courtesy Visa paid for by the Colombian government
☆ End-of-semester or end-of-year completion bonuses (these are in addition to your commitment deposit reimbursement) 500,000 pesos for 1 semester; 1,000,000 pesos for 2 semesters
Not Included:
☆ Flights to / from Colombia
☆ Additional International Medical and Accident Insurance
☆ Meals after orientation (情况介绍)
☆ Accommodation after the first 6 weeks of the program
