In the summer holiday following my eighteen birthday, I took driving lessons．I still remember how hard first day was. This year, our school offered optional courses (选修课) to the students in Hefei No.7 Senior High School. At the beginning of the term, our teachers introduced several courses to us, included Music Appreciation, Advance Math, Western Art, and etc. We selected the courses we preferred, filled in the forms, and handing them in. Several days later, the optional courses started off. We went into different classroom to begin our study. Things change so quickly! I’m now in hospital recovering from liver failure. I regret take those weight-loss pills. They contain a harmful chemical that is caused my liver to fail. The pills were going to complete destroy my liver if I continued taking it. My mother insisted sending me to the hospital, when I received good treatment.

It was a really painful experience, but I’m feeling better now. Dear Sir,

I’m Li Hua, one of the student who attended the course English Film Appreciation in last term. I like it very much mainly for the two reasons. First, in the class, we are exposed to different kinds of English films, that help us improve both our English listening or speaking. Equally attractive are the amazing stories of heroes, because they show us how a person can work hardly to make a difference.

As a young student, I suggest that the teacher choose some more films that appeal to our teenagers, thus making the course more interested. Besides, more activities should be included so that we can have many chances to practice our English.

Some of us are having problems with our parents. For example, they often looked into our school bags or read our diary.      I am worried about whether I can find a suit job when I graduate from university because Iatn not a sociable girl. I spent most of my own time on my study, have only a few friends.
