Last night, I have a strange but interesting dream. On the way back home, I came across child from another planet. His clothes seemed to be shining and looked beautifully. As I got close to him, he looked frightening and turned his back to me. Though I couldn’t speak his language, I used hand gestures to talk about him. A while later, he told me lots of amazing thing on his planet, which made me laughing. But suddenly, he began to cry, and then he explained he had lost his way but couldn’t find his home. Seeing that, I was offered to help him. His home had a telephone number like ours, so I asked him to call his parents using my phone. Soon before making the call he disappeared.

  During the last National Day, I heard that there was an exhibition in the museum, where Pablo Picasso’s works was on show. I knew that it was a good chance for me to know about one of the greatest artist. However, I had such little money that I borrowed some to my friend.

  At the exhibition, I learned that Picasso was born in Spain, and at his the age of ten, he was an excellent artist. In his early twenty, he moved to France. From 1902 to 1904, he painted series of pictures showed poor, unhappy people in the color blue. From 1904 to 1906, he painted much happier pictures in color pink. 

  Much in my surprise, it was at this exhibition where I saw his greatest Cubist painting, Guernica, painted in 1937.

The exhibition was worth visiting.

  It was a fine spring day last Monday and I visit the West Lake by myself. I was walking along the east bank which I found myself standing under a big tree. Some visitors pointed their cameras highly at the tree. I looked up only to find a lovely squirrel(松鼠) sitting on a low branch, busily ate something! Then it climbed down the tree and looked on food on the ground, which delighted everybody.

Later that afternoon I returned to home and shocking news came from Internet.    During my second month of nursing school, our professors gave us a quiz. The old saying “The early bird catches the worm.” show us the importance of planning, working hard and trying constant. To achieve outstanding results, the most people must plan ahead and work hard to overcome all kind of difficulties.

That has been my own experience, either. When I first started at high school, I seldom past my exams, so I never prepared well. Later, my teacher, Mr. Black, advised me plan everything in advance. She asked me to study hard as well. After a year of putting his advice onto practice, I can now easily pass all my exams.

 Our motherland, China,  which capital is Beijing, is a great country with a long history and rich culture.
