I got several tickets to the opening of the Peppa Pig World, a new theme park in Hampshire about the world's best-loved pig family. Peppa Pig is adored (喜爱) by my threeyear-old daughter, Flora and her little brother, George, who has the same name as the little peppa pig.  But I should point out that we named our son long before the show began appearing on television. Our George, like the other George, can say very little. In fact, he can only clearly say the word "digger". But when he watches Peppa Pig on television, he can

communicate very easily by making pig noises. So we had to go to the Peppa Pig World. Even my husband, who went unwillingly, complaining about his dislike of theme parks and a wasted weekend, conceded (承认) that it was better than he had expected.

There are seven rides, such as "Daddy Pig's Car Ride", "Grandpa Pig's Boat Ride" and "Peppa's Big Balloon Ride". I cannot recall much about any of these attractions, as Flora and George wanted to have another go as soon as we had finished each ride. There is also a large playground, where water squirts(喷出) everywhere. The children took off their clothes and played wildly in the fountains for about half an hour. There is an enormous shop selling all kinds of Peppa things-and this was the highlight for Flora. We left with a Peppa lunch box, which at least has the virtue of being useful, and a Peppa Pig activity book for the car journey home.

The eldest child of my three children, May, who is nearly seven, didn't enjoy it as much, but this didn't matter. The tickets also give you access to a park next to the Peppa Pig World, so she went there with my husband and had a fantastic time on rides that were a little more grown-up than "Peppa's Big Balloon Ride". She was so enthused (使热衷) that she ran from one ride to another, trying to enjoy herself before the gates shut.
